The X Subscription replaces four separate payments with one plan: Grok, Grok Bot, Cursor and X Premium under a single billing account.
SpaceX Super Intelligence announced it on October 12, 2026, at 23:08 UTC, in a four-post thread on its official X account.
The thread includes a short video and two official graphics: one of the bundled products and one of the plans and prices. The first post simply says the company has unified plans across the three products.
What is included in The X Subscription
The official graphic gives each part one line:
- Grok: chat, voice, image, video and API.
- Grok Bot: AI teammates that get work done.
- Cursor: local and cloud coding agents.
- X Premium: blue checkmark, creator tools and fewer ads.
This is the first time Cursor, the AI code editor, sits in the same bundle as X and Grok.
Note that Grok Bot is listed separately from Grok. Grok covers chat and creation, while Grok Bot is presented as a team of agents that carry out tasks.

The company says every plan gives more usage per dollar of its own models than the comparable plan it replaces.
The graphic draws each plan’s usage as a box, and the Ultra box is far larger than the Super one. Exact limits were not published.
Current subscribers do not have to switch
If you already pay for Grok, Cursor or X Premium, you can keep your current plan. You can also move to the new plan and link your accounts across the three services.
The rollout is gradual. The company suggests checking your billing settings for availability and limited-time offers.
In practice, some people may see the option today and others later.
What we don’t know yet
- Whether the prices are monthly, and whether taxes or local EUR and GBP pricing apply.
- How much Cursor usage each plan includes, and how usage is shared across products.
- When the rollout will finish, and which offers will be available.
What it means for you
- Paying for several services? Check your billing settings for the new plan and compare it with your current total.
- Cursor users: wait for the usage details before canceling an existing plan.
- US, EU and UK: prices were announced in USD only, and the thread lists no regional availability.
