Warhammer Survivors has a release date: Auroch Digital’s action game arrives on November 10, 2026. In an announcement published on October 6, the studio also revealed the international price of $7.99, €7.49 or £6.39, subject to regional and platform differences. An updated Steam demo accompanied the announcement, offering a taste of the battles before launch.

The game combines the worlds of Warhammer 40,000 and Age of Sigmar with a formula built around surviving hordes of enemies. Auroch Digital, the developer of Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun, is working on it with Warhammer and poncle, the creator of Vampire Survivors. According to the official Steam page, the game will feature more than 40 characters and 75+ weapons, which can be combined with abilities and upgrades to create different combat builds.

The new demo adds the Legend of Catachan and Lyssa Revenya, alongside more weapons, abilities and improvements. Anyone who played the previous version should note one important detail before returning: the studio says progress from the old demo will not transfer to the new one, and progress in the updated demo will not carry over to the full game either. The current demo is therefore a chance to try the gameplay without retaining a progression advantage ahead of November.

In a separate reveal on the PlayStation Blog, designer Ellie Harrodine introduced Morvenn Vahl and Lyssa Revenya. The former has Paragon armor and a Heavy Bolter that fires in an arc at enemies, with missiles added through a weapon upgrade. Lyssa uses a rope and grappling hook that strike and pull enemies, while upgrading the ability summons a spirit that spreads damaging mist across the battlefield.

The contrast between the two characters illustrates the direction described by the developer: characters start with different weapons and stats, then their builds change over the course of a run. The Steam page also describes large bosses, gold collection that strengthens future attempts and secrets to uncover. For now, this is the official description of those systems, and the demo is the available way to see how the combinations feel in practice.

The launch is planned for Steam and GOG on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, both Nintendo Switch systems, Android and iOS. According to the studio, Xbox preorders open on October 27, while Steam will have a 10% discount during the first week after launch. Regional prices and promotions may differ by store, so check the relevant store directly before purchasing.
