How much does Grok Bot cost?

You cannot buy Grok Bot on its own. You pay for a subscription, and the bot comes with it. According to the official pricing page, these are the plans of The X Subscription:

Plan Monthly Annual Grok Bot
Free $0 – Not included
Plus $8 $80 Not included
Premium $30 $300 Included
Super $100 $1,000 Included, larger usage pool
Ultra $200 $2,000 Included, largest usage pool
Teams $30, $100 or $200 per seat – Included
Enterprise Custom – Included, arranged with an account manager

Note: the Grok Bot page on x.ai (x.ai/bot) still shows an older plan structure, with no prices in its text. The prices here follow the Cursor pricing page and help pages, as checked on 15 October 2026.

Per the pricing page, Premium gives 4x the usage of Plus, Super 15x and Ultra 50x. Absolute usage numbers are not published, only these ratios. Cursor recommends Premium for people new to AI, Super for people who work with agents every day, and Ultra for heavy users. That is the company’s recommendation, not our conclusion.

Which plans include Grok Bot, and which do not?

  • Included: Premium, Super, Ultra and Teams.
  • Not included: Free and Plus. The official help page says so explicitly.
  • Not included in Grok subscriptions: SuperGrok Lite does not include Grok Bot. Grok Enterprise does not connect via a link; access is arranged with the account manager.

I have a Cursor or SuperGrok subscription. What happens to me?

Cursor’s earlier plans stay in place for existing subscribers until they switch or cancel. They are no longer sold to new customers.

Earlier Cursor plan Monthly Grok Bot
Cursor Pro $20 Included
Cursor Pro+ $60 Included
Cursor Ultra $200 Included
Teams Standard $40 per user Included
Teams Premium $120 per user Included

Per the Cursor help page, checked 15 October 2026.

You can also link a SuperGrok, SuperGrok Plus, SuperGrok Heavy or X Premium+ subscription to your account. Three things to know:

  • Switching to The X Subscription is optional, but permanent. According to Cursor, you cannot go back once you switch.
  • Subscriptions do not stack. Grok Bot uses whichever one grants more weekly usage.
  • Linking SuperGrok or X Premium+ is final. It cannot be undone or moved to another account.

We did not verify SuperGrok and X Premium+ prices on Grok’s own pages, so we do not list them here. According to xAI, existing subscribers carry on as before.

What happens when the weekly allowance runs out?

The X Subscription has one weekly usage pool, shared across Cursor, Grok Bot and the Grok apps. When it runs out, extra Grok Bot usage is paid from credit you top up in advance.

On the earlier plans, if On-demand is switched on, work continues and the charges count against a monthly cap. The cap does not stop a bot that is already running, and it can finish its run even after crossing the limit. On-demand usage already consumed is not refunded.

A practical tip: give the bot short, well-defined tasks, and check the usage screen before a long job.

Is there a free trial?

Yes, but it is a usage credit, not a fixed number of days. A 7-day window also applies. Credit that has been used does not come back. You can click Cancel Trial at no charge, and the credit trial does not roll into a paid subscription automatically. A trial you start through the App Store on iOS is a different offer, and it does become a paid subscription if you do not cancel before it ends. Details: Grok Bot free trial: how it works. For setup steps, see Grok Bot setup and getting started.

Pay on the web or in the app?

In the Android app, only earlier monthly individual plans are sold (Pro, Pro+ and Ultra), not the plans of The X Subscription. Annual billing, Teams and Enterprise are available on the web only. Cancellation and refunds for a subscription bought in a mobile app are handled by Apple or Google.

What else should I know before paying?

Grok Bot needs cloud data storage, so it does not support Legacy Privacy Mode, according to xAI’s documentation. Details are in Grok Bot privacy. If you are comparing prices with other tools, see Grok Bot vs ChatGPT. All our coverage is in the Grok Bot hub.
