Gemini 4 Argon is open to everyone

Google opened Gemini 4 Argon, its flagship model, to developers, enterprises and paying subscribers worldwide. The announcement went out on October 13, 2026, two weeks after the model was shown to a small group of cyber defenders.

In the API it costs $2 per 1M input tokens and $10 per 1M output tokens through November 30, rising to $4 and $20 from December 1. Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers get it in the Gemini app and AI Mode in Search.

Free users still have no access, and Google has not said whether Plus subscribers will get it.

The X Subscription: one plan for Grok, Cursor and X

SpaceX Super Intelligence announced The X Subscription, a plan that unifies Grok, Cursor and X Premium under a single billing account. Grok Bot is part of the bundle.

Current subscribers can keep their plan or switch, and the rollout is gradual. The announcement does not state a billing period, and it does not mention taxes or EUR and GBP pricing.

Grok Bot 0.70.2: an email address for every bot

Grok Bot 0.70.2 gives every bot its own address at mail.grokbot.com, lets it search X without a connected account and lets it pay with X Money or Stripe Link. The full article covers every change.

The detail worth noting: outgoing mail waits for your approval on a draft card, and before an action it cannot undo, such as buying or deleting, the bot checks for consent. Which countries can use X Money and Stripe Link for bot payments is not yet clear.

Meta Muse Wonder: a model for personal and professional agents

Meta introduced Muse Wonder and Muse Wonder Full, its most capable models to date. The announcement came on October 12, 2026.

Muse Wonder is available today to developers through the Meta Model API and Muse Code, and will reach Muse later, subscribers first. Muse Wonder Full is reserved for Muse Code subscribers. According to the model card, the context window reaches 1M tokens, and input can be text, images, video and audio.

Neither API pricing nor subscription pricing has been announced.

Anthropic: small models may replicate without a datacenter

New Anthropic research says small AI models may be close to self-replicating on cheap IoT devices. It was published on October 12, 2026.

A 9B model got inference running on 8 of 9 hardware types. In a simplified cloud-node test, only GLM-5.2 among the open-weight models tested completed full replication, reaching 8 of 8 nodes in 4 of 5 trials.

Anthropic stresses that the evaluation simplifies the cyber step, so the result is an upper bound on real-world success. This is research, not a product, and no live incident was reported.

  • Which countries can use X Money and Stripe Link for bot payments.
  • How much Muse Wonder and Muse Wonder Full will cost.

What it means for you

  • Gemini users: per the announcement, Argon reaches Pro and Ultra subscribers. Plans and uses are explained in our Gemini guide.
  • Paying for Grok, Cursor or X Premium: check your billing settings to see if The X Subscription is available to you, and compare the total price before canceling. New to Grok Bot? Plans and prices are in our Grok Bot guide.
  • Developers: Argon API prices go up on December 1, and Muse Wonder is available through the Meta Model API. Not sure what an API is? See our AI glossary.
  • Home and small-business security: weak IoT devices sit in Anthropic’s threat model. Firmware updates and changing default passwords matter with or without AI.
